Important Time-Sensitive Notice
Act 184, Session Laws of Hawai’i (2014), requires that unclaimed funds less than $100 must be claimed within ten (10) years of being deposited into the State’s Unclaimed Property Trust Fund. If not claimed within that time, the funds will escheat to the State and be transferred to the general fund.
Deadline Alert:
On July 1, 2026, any unclaimed funds under $100 that were received on or before June 30, 2016, will be permanently transferred to the State if not claimed.
